HARTFORD, Conn. — Two FOX61 journalists won 2025 Connecticut Broadcasters Association ( CBA ) awards.

The ceremony took place Tuesday evening at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

The CBA awards highlight TV and radio stations from around Connecticut. The CBA said it is an industry trade association that addresses common issues regarding legal, governmental, education, and the community, on both state and national levels.

Alyshia Hercules, a Multi-Skilled Journalist at FOX61, won Best Breaking News Coverage for her story, " Pet Goats Killed in Bear Attack ."

Jamel Johnson , a Multi-Skilled Journalist at FOX61, won Best Reporter.

FOX61 congratulates all those who earned nominations and awards for their work over the past year.
