ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (ABC4) — A new fire has started within Zion National Park and has burned 15 acres so far.

According to Utah Fire Info, the fire, which has been titled the Blue Creek Fire, is reportedly difficult to access and is a five-mile hike in.

When the fire was first reported around 12:00 p.m. on October 7, 2025, it was at .10 acres. It has reportedly grown and is now at 15 acres but is not threatening any structures.

State Air Resources and ground crews are enroute to the fire. At this time, a cause for the fire has not yet been determined.
