CACHE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Two Utah men have pleaded guilty after trying to defraud a vulnerable adult of thousands of dollars.
Bruce William Anderson, 83, from Logan and Robert Kenneth Yukes, 79, from Salt Lake City both pleded guilty on September 22 to Securities Fraud, which is a second-degree felony.
The two individuals were initially charged in 2024, after attempting to get a 94-year-old vulnerable adult to give them money to invest by providing false and misleading information.
Anderson and Yukes were also initially charged with intentional financial exploitation of vulnerable adult, less than $5000, which is a third-degree felony. However, this charge was dismissed without prejudice as part of a plea deal.
Anderson had also previously been found guilty to two felony convictions
