SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Google has updated its search results to customize them to each user's search preferences. That way, you can prioritize news from outlets you trust. Here's how you can make ABC4 your preferred news source on Google.
The search giant recently launched “preferred sources,” a tool that lets you choose which outlets you want to see in the “Top stories” section.
You can do it two ways. First, click here, and a new tab will pop up to select your "preferred sources". Search for ABC4, check the box and that's it!
Another way is by setting it up while you search for news or any story of the day. When you Google a topic, a 'Top Story' icon should pop up, similar to the one below. For relevant news queries, these sources show up more often in “Top stories” and “From your so
