PLANTSVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — News 8's Ann Nyberg, Joe Furey and Klarn DePalma were inducted into the Connecticut Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame on Tuesday evening.

The three of them were honored on Oct. 7 at the CBA award ceremony at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

Nyberg has spent more than 40 years in television news and is the longest-serving female news anchor/reporter in Connecticut television history. She is also News 8's longest-serving anchor/reporter in station history.

Furey, co-chief meteorologist at News 8, began working in television news in the mid-80s and has worked for television and radio stations across the state. He recently celebrated 40 years of forecasting weather.
