PLANTSVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Broadcasters Association (CBA) held its annual awards ceremony on Tuesday night at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, where News 8 took home multiple awards.

News 8 received awards in the following categories: • Best Anchor (TV) — Dennis House • Best Newscast Team — WTNH Morning Team • Best Investigative Story — “Protection or Punishment: Jahrell’s Story” • Best Local Show (TV) — Capitol Report • Best Engineer — Justin Williamson

News 8’s Ann Nyberg, Joe Furey and Klarn DePalma were also inducted into the CBA Hall of Fame.
