High school freshman Wesly Lowery has been friends with Nevaeh Hall since they were in first grade. So to honor their friendship, the football player surprised Nevaeh, who has down syndrome, by asking her to homecoming. Wesly says he wanted to make sure her first homecoming was a night to remember. Videos capturing the heartwarming moments have gone viral. NBC News’ Tom Llamas spoke with the two friends.
