A Carlisle man was sentenced to four to eight years in state prison Tuesday for his role in a December 2022 armed robbery of a Dollar General store in West Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County.
With Quashawn Oliver’s no-contest plea in hand, case prosecutors also put on the record that police in neighboring North Middleton Township are closing a separate convenience store robbery investigation.
Oliver’s sentence applies to a tension-filled heist at the Dollar General discount store near the village of Plainfield in West Pennsboro, about five miles west of Carlisle.
