The Reserve at Bridford apartment complex in Greensboro has been sold for a second time in six years, this time to a Greensboro multifamily residential developer.

According to a Guilford County Register of Deeds filing, Brighton Bridford Reserve LLC, an affiliate of Hawthorne Residential Partners, paid $41.5 million for the 22.14-acre complex at 1404 Bridford Parkway.

The complex contains 232 units.

The seller is an affiliate of Equus Capital Partners Ltd., based in Newton Square, Pennsylvania, which purchased the complex for $33.25 million in February 2020.

Hawthorne has 32 apartment complexes in the Triad , including 19 in Greensboro.

There are also three each in High Point, Kernersville and Winston-Salem, and one each in Burlington, Jamestown, Rural Hall and Whitsett.
