ALBANY – The former President of the Mahopac Chamber of Commerce, Peter Bardunias, is facing charges related to his alleged attempt to entice a minor to engage in prohibited sexual activity.

The 59-year-old resident of Clifton Park was accused of sending messages to an individual he believed was a 15-year-old girl during which he allegedly discussed subjecting the would-be minor to violent and sadistic sexual activity, according to Acting United States Attorney John Sarcone III and Craig Tremaroli, special agent in charge of the Albany FBI office.

The complaint alleged on October 6, Bardunias traveled to Warren County, to meet the would-be minor and brought the child candy to make her feel more comfortable.
