Memphis, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies will host Breast Cancer Awareness Night Wednesday, Oct. 8, during their preseason game against the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. at FedExForum.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the team will recognize 10 breast cancer survivors throughout the night.

Several nonprofit organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Shelby County Health Department, Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition and West Cancer Foundation, will be on the concourse to raise awareness.

A mobile mammography unit provided by Baptist Women’s Health Center will offer breast cancer screening information, and an oversized American Cancer Society inflatable pink chair will be available for photos from 5-7 p.m. outside the Big River Steel Plaza.
