LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing School District has experienced a remarkable surge in Advanced Placement (AP) participation and achievement among high school students over the past four years.
Since the 2021–22 school year, the number of students enrolled in AP courses has increased from 134 to 370 in 2024–25, representing a 176% rise.
Similarly, the number of students taking AP exams has jumped from 80 to 340, a 325% rise.
The number of students earning passing scores on those exams has climbed from 16 to 118, representing a 638% increase.
