WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Long lines, lack of staffing and many unable to even schedule an appointment, tag-office problems are a source of frustration in Sedgwick County. On Tuesday, a computer outage caused further delays.
Sedgwick County is trying to address the problems, some of which the county says are out of its control.
On Tuesday morning, the county said its system is back up and running after Tuesday’s outage.
Dealing with situations with long waits, short staffing and server outages, Sedgwick County resident Jennifer Holland said she had to wait weeks to get an appointment at the tag office.
“There was only one appointment and I checked all five places. So that made me late getting my tags,” she said.
