And maybe to win.
But mostly to have fun. And it’s even more fun to win.
Thirty-two of the area’s top high school boys golfers came to Royal Oaks Country Club on Monday to take part in the Clark County Cup, a unique tournament in which teammates could be rivals or rivals could be teammates — at least for a day.
The two-man best-ball tournament is in its second year. Tournament director Chris Harlow created the event in the model of an event his son, Christian, played in during a junior national event.
The idea is to foster camaraderie through competition. And again, it was a success.
