ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Elmira police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 8th that a 33-year-old Elmira man has been arrested for allegedly uploading child porn to the internet. Police say they served a search warrant at the home of Skyelar Williamson on October 6th.

Police obtained a warrant after three CyberTips were sent to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children accusing Williamson of uploading dozens of videos containing child sexual abuse material and sharing it through an unnamed social media platform.

As a result of the warrant and investigation, police say they arrested Williamson on Oct. 7th, charging him with one count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and one count of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child. He has since been arraigned in Elmira City Court an
