BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A procession is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for fallen Iberville Sheriff’s Deputy Charles W Riley.

His body will be escorted from Broussard, Louisiana, to Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales.

The procession details were confirmed by the Gonzales Police Department.

Officials estimate that Riley's body will arrive at the funeral home around 11 a.m.

The expected route that the procession will travel is provided below. • East on I-10 • Exit 173 exit (Prairieville exit) • Turn left onto Hwy 73 • Turn right onto Hwy 621 • Then right onto Airline Hwy • End at Ourso Funeral Home

Police said that the community is invited to park on the route in honor of the fallen deputy.
