TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The trial date for a Terre Haute man that allegedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old-girl has been canceled.

Daniel Snook, 27, was taken into custody in September of 2024 after a 13-year-old female called police claiming she had been having a sexual relationship with a 27-year-old male.

Police then responded to the address the call came from and found Snook and the underage female inside his apartment.

During an interview with police, Snook allegedly admitted to having sex with the underaged girl. The juvenile also told police Snook knew she was 13-years-old.

Snook has been charged with three counts of child molesting and one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors.

Snook was scheduled for a jury trial on October 6,
