Three teenagers died after a single car crashed into a utility pole on Route 47 in Francestown Tuesday night, New Hampshire State Police said.

The three were thrown from the car and found deceased by first responders. They were identified as Aiden Brissette, 19, of Bennington, and Seth Fowler, 19, and Luis Torres, 18, both of Antrim, according to a news release.

Police were alerted to the crash around 11:10 p.m. Route 47 is also known as Bennington Road.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2013 Ford Focus was driving southbound when it went off the right side of the road and crashed into the pole. The car continued along the shoulder and ended up rolling onto its roof, according to the news release.

The reason for going off the road remains under investigation.
