LOUISVILLE — Village Shops at Colony Square, a trio of commercial and retail buildings on West Dillon Road in Louisville, could be the site of a somewhat novel residential project as the property’s owner plans to build two dozen residences above the existing businesses.

Louisville City Council is scheduled for a concept review on the proposal put forward by applicant JKW 1031 Louisville LLC, an entity registered with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office to the Broomfield address of Robinson Investment Co. Inc., a real estate investment, management and brokerage firm.
