NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Tuesday evening.
Police said that a man was hit and killed on Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard near Osage Street at about 10:35 p.m.
A preliminary investigation shows that the man was walking on the east side of the street when he was hit by a dark-colored SUV that was driving northbound.

The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.
“Efforts are underway to identify him and notify his family,” MNPD said. “Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver involved in this fatal crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.”
