NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department arrested a felon accused of assaulting a woman on Tuesday night.

Detectives arrested 27-year-old Jacquise Miller after he ran from them on Jenkins Street.

During his arrest, detectives reportedly found a pistol, crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana. Miller is accused of assaulting a woman in front of her child in May.

He’s been booked on outstanding charges of aggravated burglary and domestic assault, along with charges of evading arrest, resisting arrest, drug possession and weapons charges.

Miller is being held on a $84,500 bond.
