AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - An Aiken man has been charged with lottery fraud, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said Wednesday.

The agency said it charged Semaj Tyerek Fuller, 24, with intent to defraud with counterfeit game tickets.

SLED said he fraudulently passed stolen scratch-off lottery tickets at a convenience store at 1731 Charleston Highway in West Columbia. The tickets had been stolen from another convenience store at 3825 Charleston Highway, according to SLED.

The theft and redemption of the tickets were recorded on video, and the South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.

Fuller was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center, according to SLED.
