On TV I saw a disturbing incident involving federal agents in Chicago. While a minister was praying, his arms outstretched, hands raised in prayer, federal officers shot a non-lethal round in his face, causing him to fall to the ground. This violence occurred despite the minister’s lack of weapons and his peaceful intentions.

I do not know why this was done to a law-abiding citizen or when it became acceptable to treat people like this.

Furthermore, this incident was not isolated. An entire apartment building was ransacked, doors broken down, and people—including women, children, and grandparents—ripped from their beds and dragged outside, some naked, zip-tied and taken away. Naked children separated from families and detained.
