HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - UMassFive College Federal Credit Union is hosting a winter coat and cold-weather clothing drive throughout October at its Hadley, Northampton, and Springfield branches.

The annual drive aims to collect clean, new, or gently used winter clothing items, including coats, gloves, scarves, hats, sweaters, snow gear, and boots, to support those in need during the colder months.

"This winter, many of our neighbors are worried about keeping up with the rising costs of groceries, heating bills, and rent, all while trying to make the holidays special for their families," said Miranda Groux, Resource Coordinator at Amherst Survival Center.
