DALLAS — Former Congressman Colin Allred announced on Wednesday a growing list of Black leaders endorsing his campaign for U.S. Senate.
Former Dallas Mayor and U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, Tarrant County Commissioner Roderick Miles, former Fort Worth councilman Dr. Jared Williams, and Rowlett councilman John P. Bowers III are the latest to back Allred’s candidacy for the Democratic nomination.
“These voices represent the strength, grit, and values that make our state special,” Allred said in a statement from his campaign. “Together, we’re building a movement to make Texas more affordable, less corrupt, and a place where everyone has a fair shot.”
