Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport reported 4.22 inches of rainfall . Nearby Corydon, Indiana reported 4.17 inches, Shelbyville, Ky. reached 3.51 inches and Shepherdsville accumulated 3.63 inches of rainfall.
Weather experts say Tuesday was the third-wettest October day on record for Louisville.
By 5 p.m. on Tuesday, more than thirty 911 calls for water-related emergencies came in for Louisville, with more coming in after that.
