HENNEPIN ( 25News Now ) - Multiple fire departments were called to Marquis Energy in Hennepin due to a major fire.
According to Marquis spokesperson Allison Shwingle, the fire started at about 11 a.m. in the maintenance building owned by the company. The ethanol facility was untouched by the fire.
In a post on Facebook Wednesday afternoon, the Hennepin Fire Department asked everyone to avoid the area to keep the roads clear for emergency traffic.
Only one person was hurt during the fire. That person had minor injuries and refused treatment, according to Shwingle.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
