SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —
A man in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, has been arrested following an extensive investigation into the distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
On Wednesday, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 34-year-old Jordan Riley Cardinal of Pacolet.

Authorities said the investigation began after receiving multiple CyberTip reports about CSAM being shared through the Kik messaging app.
Authorities searched Cardinal's home on Wednesday, where he admitted to operating multiple Kik accounts used to seek, trade, and distribute CSAM.
Cardinal has been charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
