LUDINGTON — If you want to beat the best, you have to beat the best.
On Friday, the Ludington varsity football team will put that moniker to the test as it welcomes Whitehall (4-2, 3-1 WMC) to Oriole Field at 7 p.m.
“We are excited to host Whitehall this Friday night,” Orioles head coach Charlie Gunsell said. “It is homecoming and everything that comes with that. We are anticipating the biggest crowd of the season to watch this match up.”
On top of it being homecoming, Ludington has a chance to do something it hasn’t done in four years – beat the Vikings.
Last season, the Orioles lost to Whitehall, 47-10.
