PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man is facing multiple charges in connection with a deadly shooting in Seat Pleasant on Oct. 1, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
Christopher Reid, 41, of Seat Pleasant, is facing first and second-degree murder and related charges for the shooting death of Keith Maurice Thomas, 35, of Capitol Heights.
According to police, around 2 p.m. on Oct. 1, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 6300 block of Seat Pleasant Drive. There, Thomas was found inside a store suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries two days later, on Oct. 3.
Police said officers found Reid near the scene shortly after the shooting, and the Gun Crimes Unit detectives initially charged him with attempted first-degre
