CHENANGO BRIDGE, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - High school students from all across the region took a field trip today that can potentially help them build their future careers.
The annual Southern Tier Construction-Technology Career Day was held at the Broome County Highway Department facility.
Students had the opportunity to meet with a variety of construction organizations and even got to operate the bulldozers and excavators.
Drew Lewis is a drone pilot and videographer for Smith Site Development. He says the company has been involved in career day for years, and it is a great opportunity for both Smith and the students.
