DALLAS — A North Texas megachurch pastor has been 'restored' to ministry more than a year after stepping away from his pastoral duties because of an unspecified "sin."

Tony Evans, the former senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in the 1600 block of W. Camp Wisdom Road in Dallas, stepped away from his pastoral duties in 2024 after the unspecified "sin" and to complete "a healing and restoration process," according to the now-deleted 2024 statement from Evans.
