Today, we had had the honor of speaking with Dr. Estacy Porter, who does it all. She's a mother, she supports her community, and she's even a published author, and she says that a lot of her success comes from what she took away from her time serving her country.
"Well, ironically next month will be 30 years since I joined the military. I joined Fort McClellan Alabama, came in as a chemical operations specialist, and later on I transitioned in to a nurse, but I've been serving for 22 years, 10 months, and 7 days," says Dr. Estacy Porter.
Porter says the lessons she learned stayed with her for a lifetime.
