A motorcyclist has serious injuries after a crash in East Windsor on Wednesday night.

The police department said it happened on Winkler Road, and the road is shut down between Newberry and Wells roads.

A LifeStar helicopter was called in to take the motorcyclist to the hospital, police said.

It's unknown how long the road will remain closed. The crash remains under investigation.
