Article III, Section III of the Constitution states: “Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.” Article II Section IV of the Constitution states: “The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

President Donald Trump unleashing of the military, including Marines in Los Angeles, active-duty troops in Portland and federalized National Guard members in Chicago appears to be a high crime, if not outright treasonous.
