PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A security guard at a shopping center in Prince George's County is facing charges after a gun was fired on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Around 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said officers responded to a call for the discharge of a gun in the 3300 block of Walters Lane.
There, detectives reviewed security cameras and interviewed witnesses.
Following their investigation, the security guard, whose name has not yet been released, was charged with reckless endangerment.
Police noted that the shopping center had hired the security guard.
No one was hurt, and the details that led up to the incident remain limited.
