Arturo Gatti Jr., who was the son of late Boxing Hall of Famer Arturo Gatti, died at the age of 17.

Per a World Boxing Association release on Wednesday that confirmed the news: "The WBA and the boxing world mourn the passing of Arturo Gatti Jr. His journey was just beginning, yet his spirit will live on - now reunited with his legendary father among the stars."

What was the cause of death for Gatti Jr., who was a potential Olympic hopeful in the sport his dad became a legend in? There's no word, although ESPN reported he was found dead in Mexico.
