PLAINFIELD, CT (WFSB) – A 35-year-old New York man wanted for charges related to rape and incest was arrested Wednesday evening in Plainfield.

Adisa Charles was taken into custody by Plainfield Police Department officers in a parking lot at 1293 Norwich Road after the Broome County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for him on four felony charges.

Charles was charged with three counts of rape in the first degree and one count of incest in the first degree.

He is being held on a $250,000 cash surety bond.

Charles is scheduled to be arraigned at Danielson Superior Court on Thursday October 9, 2025.
