EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Three suspects are facing charges following the shooting that happened in Evansville on Wednesday.
Police were sent to a report of gunshots on Wednesday afternoon at the White Oak Manor apartment complex on North Saint Joseph Avenue.
Officers in the area were able to respond quickly, as the shooting happened a few blocks away from the Fall Festival.
A police report says 26-year-old Marchalleo Hoskins Jr., 34-year-old Shelby Wilson, and 27-year-old Kamarius Foster were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The EPD report says Wilson originally called 911 and said her boyfriend had stolen her vehicle.
