JACKSON, MI – Jackson County residents looking to get rid of recycling materials can attend this upcoming event.
Recycling Jackson and Gerdau will host another free Recycling Drive from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 1381 N. Brown St. People will be able to recycle latex-based paints and electronics, including televisions, cell phones, laptops, computers, keyboards and mice.
This is the third time Recycling Jackson and Gerdau have teamed up to offer a free recycling drive. The previous drives have collected over 6,000 pounds of recyclable materials.
Recycling Jackson is a volunteer-led non-profit organization that offers recycling drives the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The organization accepts a large range of recyclable materials if they are sorted and clean.
