As the Colorado State football team ends the first half of its season this week, the Rams are still searching for some kind of spark to get back on track while also learning how to handle the adversity it is having to face with poor play on the field and their injury count rising.

CSU will look to snap a three-game losing streak and pick up its first Mountain West Conference victory Friday when the Rams host Fresno State. Following a loss at San Diego State a week ago in their conference opener, the Rams are having to take a deep look at a roster that is depleted and forcing inexperienced players to step into bigger roles.
