(WFRV) – A new national study examining the most dangerous places to drive in the U.S. shows mixed results for Wisconsin cities, with Green Bay and Milwaukee improving their rankings while Madison slipped in the wrong direction.

The report, conducted by ConsumerAffairs using data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, ranked Milwaukee as the 46th most dangerous city for drivers. While the number might sound high, it’s actually an improvement — the city moved up seven spots from last year.

Green Bay saw an even bigger improvement, now ranking 259th — a drop of 25 spots compared with last year’s list, which means safer roads for drivers.
