A Paterson-based community event centered on healing, hope and second chances will return Friday, bringing together faith leaders, reentry advocates and local employers for a day of restoration and opportunity.

The annual “Restorative Café,” now in its fifth year, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Passaic County Career Center, 200 Memorial Drive. The free event will feature employment opportunities and panel discussions on how those returning from incarceration can re-acclimate into the community.

“While this is my first year serving as facilitator, it’s an honor to carry forward an event that has already made a lasting impact in the community,” said Leilani Lendof, the event’s organizer.
