MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A taxi cab crashed into a pole in Hell's Kitchen on Thursday, prompting a large response from emergency personnel.

Video on Citizen shows a large crowd of people surrounding the yellow taxi as it sits flush against a light pole at the corner of West 42nd Street and 12th Avenue.

The crash was reported to the FDNY at 2:27 p.m., according to officials.

FDNY officials said several people in the car were trapped and had to be removed by responders.

Officials say four people were taken to the hospital as a result of the crash.
