Says committed to cripple terror ecosystem; Security forces given freehand

New Delhi, Oct 9: Reaffirming the PM Modi led government’s resolve to achieve a terrorism-free Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday asserted that security forces will continue to have full operational freedom to eliminate any threat to peace and stability in the region.

Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting in New Delhi to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

After the meeting ended the Union Home Minister wrote on X: “Reviewed the security of Jammu and Kashmir along with the Lt. Governor and other senior officials. We are committed to cripple the terror ecosystem in J&K.”
