Several election ballots for registered voters in Woodland were damaged after a United States Postal Service mail theft incident, according to Yolo County.

On Thursday, Yolo County said it was alerted by USPS that four cluster mailboxes were broken into, impacting 61 addresses and approximately 135 registered voters.

Registered voters at the following locations were affected by the theft:

800–1120 Shiloh Ct.

237–268 Pearl Ct./Way

236–261 Carlsbad Pl.

300–341 Pinnacles Dr.

Stolen mail was recovered at another location, but had been sorted through and exposed to water, USPS told Yolo County officials. This included election-related materials.
