NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Along Long Wharf Park in New Haven, dozens of food trucks have stood the test of time as many local's favorite lunch spots, year-round.
Nicknamed "Food Truck Paradise" by many, around 30 food vendors have claimed the spot as their own after years of serving the public.
"In general, New Haven has a great vibrant food culture I would say," said Johannes Jaskolski, who often walks down during his lunch break. "Food carts are all the rage still I think and the choices here I think are really good."
Located right along the waterfront and aside to I-95, folks say while it might be an easy spot to get to, visitors may be torn by the food options. From Puerto Rican, Mexican, American cuisines and more, there are hundreds of combinations to pick up.
