CHESHIRE, CT (WFSB) - As temperatures begin to drop and residents prepare to turn on their heating systems for the first time in months, local HVAC professionals are reminding homeowners to pay close attention to any unusual sounds or odors from their units.

F.F. Hitchcock in Cheshire is gearing up for the busy winter season. While the company continues to receive calls for air conditioner repairs, staff members said they’re now fielding more inquiries about heating system maintenance.
