A Riverside County woman who injected silicone oil into a woman’s buttocks — with fatal results — just over a year after being convicted for another woman’s death was found guilty Thursday of second-degree murder and practicing medicine without certification.
Jurors deliberated for just more than a day before rendering their verdict Thursday in the trial of Libby Adame, 55, stemming from the March 24 death of 59-year-old Cindyana Santangelo of Malibu.
She faces 15 years to life in prison when she is sentenced Nov. 5.
