A Riverside County woman who injected silicone oil into a woman’s buttocks — with fatal results — just over a year after being convicted for another woman’s death was found guilty Thursday of second-degree murder and practicing medicine without certification.

Jurors deliberated for just more than a day before rendering their verdict Thursday in the trial of Libby Adame, 55, stemming from the March 24 death of 59-year-old Cindyana Santangelo of Malibu.

She faces 15 years to life in prison when she is sentenced Nov. 5.

Adame and her daughter, Alicia Galaz, were convicted in March 2024 of involuntary manslaughter — but acquitted of the more serious charge of murder — stemming from the Oct. 15, 2019, death of 26-year-old Karissa Rajpaul following buttocks injections administered at a Sherma
