A Riverside County woman, Libby Adame, 55, has been convicted of second-degree murder and practicing medicine without a certification after the death of Malibu actress Cindyana Santangelo. The verdict was handed down Thursday by a Los Angeles jury, according to court records and reporting by the Los Angeles Times.
Santangelo, known for her roles on “ER,” “Married With Children,” and appearances in music videos, died in March 2025 after receiving silicone injections at her Malibu home. Prosecutors told the court that Adame administered the injections, resulting in a fatal silicone embolism.
Santangelo’s husband, Frank Santangelo, testified that his wife was “killed in the prime of her life in her own home after being unlawfully injected with unsafe and unapproved substances by Libby Adame
